Time is Ticking:

Progress reports are due tomorrow. It's hard to believe, how time flies. The students are working really hard on their pages and have all had good questions, pertaining to their wikis and blogs. They are doing great work but seem a little stressed with the short amount of time in class. I hope they will relax and enjoy some of what they are learning.

I don't know where the time goes. My intentions are to blog frequently and yet as I looked at my blog it has been a week since I was last on here, Yikes! The students have great energy and I am looking forward to assisting them on their journey through Globaloria!

These 9 students are very excited and have a ton of questions about the program. We have overcome a few technical issues with the school computers but are right on track or at least for the moment we are on track!

Welcome Back to school!

We have a lot of new and exciting things for you this year.
First and foremost make sure you return your consent forms so you can participate in the class. This class will open numerous doors for you, just make sure to ask questions if you are confused. Remember the only stupid question is the one not asked!

Well, I thought I had posted a blog in April but evidently I haven't. I haven't been doing a very good job keeping up with everything. It's hard to believe it's May, things aren't going as smoothly as we had hoped but we are looking forward to next year. Hopefully Lisa and I can teach a class for the entire year and have students in the class that actually want to be in the class. I think that would make a big difference in the work produced from the students. We'll have to wait and see but I am hopeful this will work out.

Next Semester.........

Well next semester is here and what I thought would work out probably won't. We have decided to pull the few from the first semeter who were excited and wanted to move on out of my class and add them to Lisa's class so they can continue with their created games. The rest of the students have no interest. Flash was finally installed and this semesters students with maybe the exception of 2-3 are progerssing very well and seem to be learning quickly. Most all are keeping up with their wiki's and are getting started on their blogs. I am looking forward to see their work, some of the game designes sound interesting too.

Excited about Next Semester:

We are still waiting for Flash to be installed, hopefully this week things will come together. Our students will change wheel classes next week and Lisa's students will rotate to me. I am planning on helping the students continue with their games in Flash.

Getting Better every day:

Well I am finally getting around the site better. I was able to review each teams game and student profile and help some of them with their formatting in the progress section of their wiki. I can't wait to see what they can do when they finally get to flash. Maybe next week it will be installed.

I have been able to manuver through and review the students work with more ease now, I just wish I was able to be in the classroom while they were working.

Well since I haven't posted since August you can obviously tell I am not doing so well on keeping up with all this information, along with my regular life schedule. I hope to get things together and do better.
